Hourly Rate $36.53 per hour, includes 25% casual loading, plus 9.5% superannuation.
We are currently seeking dynamic early childhood educators to join Council’s Children’s Centres team in 2017. We are seeking Diploma qualified educator relievers to work in our multifunction Children’s Centres.
With capacity enrolments and an outstanding reputation for innovative and responsive programs, City of Ballarat Children’s Centre provide an excellent opportunity for relievers to make their mark in the early childhood field. A commitment to teamwork is essential.
The successful applicants will have an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework. You will also have the ability to support a holistic approach to the care, education and development of children.
Key Selection Criteria
A Diploma level qualification as outlined in the Children’s Services Regulations 2012 & Current Working With Children’s Check
Ability to meet children’s and family’s needs for quality child care
Ability and willingness to work as part of a team
Ability to cater for individual needs in relation to routine and operation of the centre
Effective communication skills.
Thorough understanding of Children’s Services Regulations and Early Years Frameworks.
Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.
Current first-aid and Anaphylaxis qualification (or willing to obtain).
Current Police check (or willing to obtain)
