Current Planning Applications

 

Current planning application being advertised can be viewed online.

  • Visit eServices
  • Select Town Planning Applications.
  • Follow the prompts. 

All of the documents associated with the application, including plans and supporting reports, are available for viewing. 

Applications currently on advertising can also be viewed at the Statutory Planning Counter, The Phoenix Building, Armstrong Street South.    Office hours are 8.15am to 5pm Monday – Friday.  Photocopies can be made of any documents charged at the following costs:   A4 @ 50c, A3 @ $1, A2-A0 @ $5-$7. 

Comment on a Current Application

Anyone can make a submission about an application.  Submissions are not confidential and the name and address of the submitter may be viewed by any person and may also be included in any Council meeting agenda publicly accessible on Council’s website.

 A submission must be in writing and, if it is an objection, it must state the reasons for the objection and how you will be affected by the grant of a permit.  Council can only consider objections that are based on planning grounds (property devaluation and commercial competition are not valid grounds of objection). 

Written submissions can be lodged: 

  • online using Council’s eServices system;
  • by post to:

  • by fax to 5320 5825.

If posting or faxing, please use the objection form.  

If a petition or multiple signatories are lodged, Council will direct all correspondence only to the first signatory or other as nominated.

If you make a written submission, you will receive an acknowledgement letter from Council after the advertising period closes.
